Compliance Specialist (Environment)

Your job at Rijk Zwaan

As Compliance Specialist within the administration department you fulfill an essential role in legislation compliance. Additionally, you are responsible for:

• Updating documents and procedures such as operating sanitary license, annual operating certificate, waste handling permits and Hazardous waste management.
• Supervise the water treatment plant operation supplier (ptar)
• Attention to visits from the secretary of environment and ecology
• CFE general management, Gas Natural permits and Civil protection permits.

Your contribution:

As Compliance Specialist you are aware of all the legal requirements that the company has to comply with. You keep close contact with different coordinators to ensure that each department is operating in line with the most important legislations. You show good planning and organization skills to have an annual plan of compliance. You have good communication with government officers, and you have initiative to have a good follow up on different local government institutions. 

In addition, we can find the following on your resume:

• A completed University degree, in the field of Law, Environment, Administration or similar. 
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field (government paper work specially on environmental field)

Rijk Zwaan Promex is a production subsidiary, we produce tomato, pepper eggplant and cucumber seeds. We have two High Technology green houses and we are located near Queretaro and Guanajuato (San José Iturbide and San Miguel de Allende). We have a Staff team of 25 motivated colleagues to improve our subsidiary and we count with a strong support of 250 colleagues from different areas including Crop Maintenance that are doing a fantastic job.
