Your role at Rijk Zwaan

As part of our two year Graduate program you will learn and experience all aspects of our business, from crop work, growing techniques, trials and selection, sales and digital marketing. Working at our two primary locations Daylesford and Bacchus Marsh, you will develop technical, business management, general consultancy, project management, and communication and delivery skills.

Commencing with our Production team, you will assist with our seed production crops.

Your contribution 

You are an enthusiastic team member with excellent communication skills and able to interact with a variety of stakeholders. You are analytical, and not afraid to ask questions; the who, why and what.  You also believe in sustainability, have a love of vegetables, and will embody what Rijk Zwaan stands for.

In addition, we can find the following on your resume: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science or related discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and experience new opportunities across all areas of our business
  • Ability to work face to face and remotely with our team

Where will you be working?


Rijk Zwaan is an international family-owned company, one of the top four vegetable seed companies in the world with a people-oriented culture. Rijk Zwaan is at the beginning of the food chain. We develop vegetable and fruit varieties and sell the seeds to growers and other chain partners all over the world. We make an important contribution to the world food supply.

At Rijk Zwaan Australia, we employ around 80 people, with the majority at our Daylesford site.
