As Client Manager Open Field Crops based in Moscow, you will develop and implement sales strategies which align with our company’s objectives and build strong relationships with clients and partners.

Your job as Client Manager Open Field Crops.
You will develop and execute sales strategies for Open Field crops within Central and Volga part of Russia. You build up and maintain strong relationships with clients. You serve as the primary contact for clients and connect them with other team members for professional agronomical and commercial support. The major crops in the region are cabbage, lettuce, beetroot, gherkin, etc.
You analyse market trends and customer needs to inform internal colleagues and update sales strategies. You collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
You will represent Rijk Zwaan at tradeshows, conferences and events. Both nationally and internationally.
Additionally, you are responsible for:
- identifying and acquiring new clients and business opportunities
- processing customer requests and wishes;
- creating promotion programs (seminars, advertising, field days, etc.);
- analysing and forecasting sales volumes and preparing reports of the results for management presentations;
- visiting partners and clients, travelling all-over the region and internationally up to 50%.
Your Contribution
You are based in Moscow, Russia (or Moscow region). You are committed to excellent business ethics and take initiative easily and you have a commercial and client-focused approach.
You have good analytical skills and are able to think strategically. You are a team-player, have strong communication skills and you are interested in the horticultural industry. You are an independent self-starter with the ability to set your own goals and agenda, and to manage your own progress towards those goals in a structured way.
Moreover, you will work with a diversity of clients, colleagues and partners so you need to be flexible and able to work well with all kinds of people. You enjoy travelling all-over Russia and internationally. You are ready to work with a number of digital platforms and tools, and you are a confident PC user.
Because of the international job environment you have an intermediate level of English proficiency.
In addition, we can find the following on your resume:
- a completed Bachelor’s degree in the field of Commerce, Economy, Chemistry or Agriculture;
- at least 3 years of relevant work experience with clients or sales of b2b products;
- native Russian language;
- an intermediate level of the English language;
- valid international driving license.
