Your job at Rijk Zwaan

As an IT Support Engineer with the Rijk Zwaan Russia team, you will support colleagues working and traveling in the Central and Eastern European (Russia, Kazakhstan, Hungary and Turkey). Our IT infrastructure is highly integrated with the global ICT infrastructure of the Rijk Zwaan Group. You will serve as the point of contact for the ICT department at Rijk Zwaan.

Additionally, you will be responsible for: 

  • maintaining ICT facilities for end users: laptops, tablets, and smartphones;
  • training and assisting colleagues in the (smart) use of applications like MS Office, CRM, ERP, and reporting tools;
  • providing reliable IT services to colleagues, enabling them to concentrate on their primary tasks;
  • solving incidents with equipment and applications;
  • managing local (ICT) suppliers;
  • assisting in the maintenance and implementation of the ICT infrastructure, which includes servers, network, telephony, entrance, and security equipment.

Your contribution:

As an IT Support Engineer, you excel at balancing self-sufficiency with the seamless implementation and adherence to Rijk Zwaan’s central ICT solutions and policies.

You can work independently and as part of an international team. 

You are a strong communicator with a proactive attitude, capable of multitasking and providing a hands-on approach. Your broad ICT knowledge includes Microsoft Windows, Server, Office, and other business applications from various vendors. You understand virtualization and its implementation in business environments.

You have a keen awareness of security topics and a desire to continually implement and improve security measures. 

You are enthusiastic, curious, willing to learn, and eager to follow training in diverse areas.

Analyzing and improving procedures is your strong skill, aiming for continual improvement for all colleagues. You enjoy travelling to Europe and within the region. 

Being part of an international team requires at least an upper- intermediate level of English.

In addition, we can find the following on your resume:

  • a completed University degree, in the field of Information Technology;
  • at least 2 years of relevant working experience;
  • a proficient level of knowledge in TCP/IP networking in a LAN / WAN environment;
  • knowledge of IT equipment and mobile device management solutions for smart phones and tablets.

As an ICT Engineer, you will join Rijk Zwaan Russia’s team of 40 colleagues, working closely to tackle the challenges of the horticultural market. Rijk Zwaan Russia’s office is conveniently located in Moscow, within walking distance of Sokolniki metro station. You will also be part of an international ICT team in the region, which consists of 5 colleagues and the whole ITS department, a team of 60 colleagues.
